Sunday was the moment of 1017 ALYX 9SM and its runway for the new upcoming Fall winter 2019/20 collection. Half of the outfits presented were total black, forcing the show attendants to focus on the line details of Matthew Williams' second Paris Show. The cutting-edge designer, who was art director at Donda, Kanye West’s creative agency, continues to push the boundaries of garment crafting in his highly technical collection. The signature buckle accessory comes back in quite all the looks, featuring leather jackets, distressed denim, puffer jackets, while talking about materials the protagonists are dyed and bleached camouflage fabrics, created in partnership with Italian company Majocchi. “I don’t really design in themes, so it’s more an evolution of the aesthetic of Alyx and the different fabrics and materials that we’ve done in the past,” the designer said, wearing a cross body bag featuring the signature buckle he designed for Dior Men. Accessories include baseball caps, leather totes, mini satchels, cross body pouches and huge duffle bags. Have a look at the show and find all the latest outlooks from Paris Fashion Week part 1, London Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week street snaps.
