London Collections:Men is done for this season, leaving us with the most incredible collections that cannot wait to be seen everywhere. Discover our top five designers selection below.
- KTZ: London based brand KTZ meets American Sport universe, which references are pretty strong, starting from bombers and jackets adorned with leather/laced sutures of baseballs, face guards and bowling shoes with platform soles. The colour palette changes from black and white to yellow, red and green, starring alongside with stunning Union Jack capes. - NASIR MAZHAR: East London designer Nasir Mazhar, for A/W 2016, took a sabbatical from colors, realising a total black collection, if we exclude a few little white details, for a "fashion cleanse" result. Leaving colors and logos behind, let the designer create individual stories look by look as "Each outfit is otherwise treated as an entirely separate project". - ASTRID ANDERSEN: Just like Nasir Mazhar, each Astrid Andersen's new look for A/W 2016 has a proper idea and history. Iconic hits from seasons past, like details made of lace and fur, are present, even tho this time the collection is characterised by bouclé tweeds, made in collaboration with traditional English fabric supplier's Linton, which gives to the outfits a street style couture approach. - BERTHOLD: For the 3rd presentation at LCM, Raymond Berthold explores volumes and shelter shilouette displayed in supple rubber, nubby shearling, coated cotton jersey, taking inspiration from life jackets and uniforms from World War II worn by British Army and influences by German artist Franz Erhard Walther. The color palette is made of black and yellow, while the footwear are provided by The Natural Shoe Store. - CMMN SWDN: "Domus" is the Latin word for "Home". And it's also the name of Cmmn Swdn new A/W 2016 collection. For next season, designers Saif Bakir and Emma Hedlund took inspiration from late 70s/early 80s and everything about familiarity, looking at clothes like extension of the home, contrasting the retro influences with a focus on modern fits, contemporary details and technical fabrics.
