Marcelo Burlon presented Spring Summer 2017 collection during the Milan Fashion Week. In his quest for the balance of opposites, County of Milan made the new collection as an ode to noise that ignites unstoppable waves of change. The collection highlighted the recent resurgence of heavy metal iconography, populated by the likes of Vetements and Supreme. Bomber jackets, hoodies, tops and shorts printed in numbers and graphic weaves, including blackletter fonts, mix with Ninja stars and County’s very own Patagonian symbols, the main theme of this collection. During the show, a trio of drummers took to the centre of a red-light, circular room to soundtrack the march of models around them and American rapper Mykki Blanco paused at the end of the runway, stepping up to the mic. Blanco performed a spoken word piece before breaking energetically into song, shedding clothes and bearing the microphone stand on their shoulders as they did so.
