With “Blue collar” collection Off White designer explores new ways to represent the young generation in the contemporary moment, from leather and plastic materials to camouflage and marble textures, he follows the moment trends introducing new details and shapes.
Yohji Yamamoto and Raf Simons are the sneaker design kings, and their collaboration with Adidas created something that did not exist before. The Japanese designer imagined sportswear that is elegant and formal at the same time. Last Dior’s Creative Director pushes the footwear design to the extreme, adding futuristic details and multi materials, obtaining a work of contemporary art, the Ozweego. At the same time he works at a opposite project, revisiting the super classic Stan Smith models, adding luxury materials and his distinctive “R” on the side of the shoe.
Nasir Mazhar is an East Ender’s designer who debuted with his first collection at London Fashion Week in 2008. He is now foremost known for his headwear creations, mixing futuristic and familiar elements as a trade-mark, with references from Hip Hop world, to streetwear culture and metropolitan aesthetic.
