Kanye West definitely knows how to make a proper presentation- and that was pretty rad actually. Yesterday, probably the most hyped about show of the New York Fashion Week took place at the Madison Square Garden, while streamed on Jay-Z's music streaming service Tidal at the same time with 700 cinemas in 23 countries around the world: Yeezy Season 3 and "The Life of Pablo", the two latest creations by Kanye West we were all waiting for. The show, it all began with a massive, undulating coverlet that, once removed, revealed hundreds of street-cast models (who had to follow rules like "no smile, no dancing, hold positions until the end of the show, stand straight, be calm, be strong, concentrate, focus, etc.") alongside with Ian Connor, who was smoking just like in Season 2 performance and, super top model Naomi Campbell, in a total black look. The visual performance was made in collaboration with artist Vanessa Beecroft, who took an active part in it, shooting live the collection, which consists of basic garments with an autumnal colour palette. This all happened while streaming for the first time ever "The Life of Pablo", Kanye's brand new album, which features tracks with Rihanna, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean and Young Thug, just to name a few. The atmosphere at the Madison Square Garden was so amazing, almost familiar, as Ye was surrounded by all of his friends and crew and the women of his life, the Kardashian/Jenner, all dressed in white outfits that Kanye designed about two weeks ago in Paris with Balmain's Olivier Rousteing. Have a look at the pictures and if you missed the show, you can watch the watch the video. Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when Yeezy Season 2 will be available to shop at Vrients.
