Casablanca is back with its Spring / Summer 2021 collection, which made its debut in the Paris fashion week. The collection is titled "After the Rain Comes the Rainbow" and was designed by creative director Charaf Tajer in response to events around the world and his "hope of bringing some light into the darkness that the world is facing in this moment". This influence refers to vivid prints and motifs that appear on silk shirts, scarves and denims, while light knitwear features frequent Casablanca 60s motifs such as oranges and tennis courts. In addition, SS21 also features the introduction of the Casablanca Surf Club, inspired by Hawaii and its atmoshpere. Other prominent pieces include linen tailoring and an apres-sport tracksuit constructed with a lightweight technical fabric. Additionally, Casablanca continued to work with New Balance, making its debut with 327 collaboratives in burgundy or off-white. The new shoe collaboration will be released in first quarter of 2021.
