The 40th edition of the MTV Video Music Awards, which took place on Sunday 12 September at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, was presented by Doja Cat who also entertained the spectators with her exuberant clothes.

Compared to the 2019 edition, the limitations due to covid-19 were minor and it was possible to experience the evening in a more carefree way. To open the dance was Madonna, who with a tight black leather dress immediately attracted attention.

The undisputed star was the rapper Lil NasX, who took home 3 awards, while to follow we find Olivia Rodrigo, BTS, Justin Bieber and Travis Scott.
